The World is better for her being here. She made my life a good one and gave me lovely memories.
"To Where You Are" Who can say for certain Maybe you're still here I feel you all around me Your memory's so clear Deep in the stillness I can hear you speak You're still an inspiration Can it be (?) That you are my Forever love And you are watching over me from up above Fly me up to where you are Beyond the distant star I wish upon tonight To see you smile If only for awhile to know you're there A breath away's not far To where you are Are you gently sleeping Here inside my dream And isn't faith believing All power can't be seen As my heart holds you Just one beat away I cherish all you gave me everyday 'Cause you are my Forever love Watching me from up above And I believe That angels breathe And that love will live on and never leave Fly me up To where you are Beyond the distant star I wish upon tonight To see you smile If only for awhile To know you're there A breath away's not far To where you are I know you're there A breath away's not far To where you are David, I love and miss you my darling..
Honey, you are the love of my life. I will always love you. When you ask me to be your wife You gave me a new lease on life.
Love you and miss you daily I will see you in heaven someday
Jim was my shining star... He was my heart, my soul, we were high school sweethearts. I love him. He was faithful, trusted in the Lord, and was a fabulous father.
Michael was a 5'8", blonde hair, blue eyed cowboy from Monroe, Louisiana. We lived in Lewisville Texas. He had spent a year in Sherman, Texas. Michael was a wonderful man and a TRUE gentleman. Michael grew up doing rodeos - bare back bronco riding, bull riding, barrel racing. He loved animals in general. He loved to fish in the back creeks. He was a very good "handyman" to have around. Michael has a beautiful 5 yr old son, Colten.
I asked the Lord for this one man. I didn't understand his master plan. Was he not the man of my dreams? Was he not the man on whom I could lean? He was the man who could make me smile. He was the man in whom was no guile. "You are like Mary Poppins" I would say, "Because you are practically perfect in every way." But troubles came, and he retreated into his shell. I tried to draw him out, to drink from the well. He had his life, and I had mine, But I wanted more, I wanted our lives entwined. "You come with me, then I'll go with you" But I could never get him to see it from my point of view. We drifted apart like ships on the sea. I prayed Dear Lord, If it be Your will, let him come back to me. I loved him like I never loved another. But my trust is in the One who sticks closer than a brother. Without warning, his life came to an end. Leaving so many hearts which only the Lord can mend. The enemy did come to kill and destroy; To take the best this earth can employ. But as I lift up my hands in praise to my King, In the midst of my sorrow, His peace He does bring. He speaks to my heart His comforting words: "Oh my child, I saw what was to be. You sowed seeds of love into his heart; And from My Presence he shall never depart." Remembering you on this, the fourth anniversary of your first day in heaven. In my heart you will always have a place. We miss you.
More than anything he was my best friend. With tearful eyes we watched him suffer and saw him fade away We could not make him stay A golden heart stopped beating Hard working hands to rest God broke my heart to prove to me He only takes the best
Bruce was an Eagle Scout who loved the old methods of the Boy Scouts of America. He was A church deacon, a tender heart for a manly man, an avid fisherman, camper, mountain climber. He greatly loved his children and spent time daily with them. He suffered Hodgkins disease (lymphatic cancer) as a young boy, age 8 to age 21. This was during the experiential testing at M. D. Anderson Hospital. He was radiated from the neck down, causing the calcification that occurs from such treatments. Almost 30 years from the day of his first treatment he was missing overnight till we found him. His carotids had blown out and he died instantly. A father remembered, a husband forever missed!
To know him is to love him. My beloved husband I am so empty without you.
God, Grant me the serenity to accept The things I cannot change Courage to change the things I can and The wisdon to know the difference.
GONE A PRECIOUS JEWEL YOU WILL ALWAYS BE LOVED IN MY HEART I LOVE YOU
I'd like the memory of me to be a happy one I'd like to leave an afterglow of smiles when life is done I'd like to leave an echo whispering softly down the ways, of happy times of laughing times, and bright and sunny days. I'd like the tears of those who grieve, to dry before the sun. Knowing I'll still love you, even when my life is done.
In Loving Memory Of Terry "Homer" You were suddenly taken away on Oct. 2nd, God took you home. You were a loving and caring husband and father. If tears could build a stairway and memories a lane, I'd walk right up to heaven and bring you home again. Until we meet again, find peace and love in heaven's hands. Like an enteral flame your memory will live in our hearts forever. Gone yet not forgotten, although we are apart. Your spirit lives within me and forever in my heart. I'll be your homers angel 4 ever.
He had a calling in his life..... first over 25 years in law enforcement, and finished his days doing what God had always wanted him to do..... he became an ordained Pastor. We only had a church for 23 months..... but John was taken home to be with the Lord, having fullfilled his earthly calling.
Loving husband and father. My friend and wish fufiller. All a wife could ask for. A best friend who is truly missed by all
Love was our quest - it begat us and behaved up to the end! In Memory of a wonderful love, a wonderful human being and a wonderful life. Charles flew through life. His greatest desire was to fly an airplane. He was orphaned at 8 years old and lived in an orphanage in Portales, M.M. with his 2 brothers until Aunt Jesse and Uncle Doc of Oklahoma City come get them. He graduated from Classen HighSchool and attended Oklahoma State University, whereupon he left to attend Cadet Training for the United States Air Corp. He became an instructor and flew many planes. He instructed on several posts throughout the United States. The war ended as he was due to be promoted to Colonel. He instructed the young pilots that flew the second plane directed to Japan. Following the war he became a commercial pilot and flew 32½ years, retiring at the mandatory age of 60. His entire career was without incident, of which he was, rightly, proud. His retirement reception saw over 100 fellow pilots and friends. Retirement did not keep him down. With his stepson, Stephen, they open the first "Burger Box" in Arlington, Tx. Having no children, of his own, he was exceptionly proud of his step children and was an exempliary father, as well as grandfather to 7 and great grandfather to 11. He also loved, like his own, the neices and nephews born to his 2 brothers. Charles was a avid golfer. He was a homeowner and kept a manicured lawn. He was fun a loving, yet responsible individual. A good provider, a loving and protective husband, a Christian - member of the First Baptist Church of Dallas. Charles lies next to his first wife of 32 years, Anita, under a stone that says, "Together Forever". Charles spent his last 5 months at the Transitional Care Unit. of the Veteran's Hospital of Dallas. I commend the Veteran's Administration for the care they give to their dying men and women, who have served their country. I loved Charles with an admiration and trust that I have never known in another person . I hold his memory in high esteem as I go forward into the 3rd year of widowhood and another quest of purpose in love.
